Jessica Scannapieco brings successful coaching and playing experience to the Eastern University Women's Lacrosse staff.

She spent the last three seasons as the Head Coach at Johnson and Wales University.. There she led the Wildcats to a 35-12 mark and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances in her time in Providence. Her team made program-history with a 17-8 NCAA Tournament win over Morrisville State in 2019. Before her time at JWU, Scannapieco was head coach at Elms College for one year. In that season, the Blazers went 13-3 and reached their conference final. That program had not won more than seven games in a season before that year.

As a player, the Blue Bell, Pa. native set the NCAA Division III record for career draw controls and helped her Western New England to a Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in her senior season. Scannapieco finished her playing career with 573 draw controls, 205 goals, 79 assists, and 194 ground balls. She was a three-time first-team All-CCC honoree and was named as female Athlete of the Year at WNE.

Scannapieco will assist in all aspects of the program development.

She is pursuing a Masters in Organization Leadership and is the General Manager for Philadelphia girls club for the Headstrong Foundation.
