I began playing in 3rd grade. I quickly learned how to play with speed and vision which lead to many victories. I began at my elementary school being one of the best and wanting more. I moved on to the junior lacrosse program loosely affiliated with the Catholic High School which, ironically, is now my current high school's rival. Since my youth i have played with the kids older than me and thrived. When i reached high school i was pulled toward St Xavier High School for their prestigious reputation academically and athletically. My freshman year i played well on JV. I had an overall good season and learned how my new school's reputation is no myth; we have to put the work in. Sophomore year i was one of the few kids on the bubble between varsity and JV. The only underclassman that got real playing time on varsity that year was all american freshman Luke Vrsansky. But i am glad i remained on JV, i had the chance to grow as a player and as a leader. And that is the basic story of how my game came to be how it is today.
