Recruit Profile
Coachable, multi-sport athlete with a high Lax IQ that is flexible as both a quarterback in the net and an asset as an attackman.

In third grade I decided to try lacrosse as I was bored of standing around in baseball. Having already played hockey since I was five, I immediately fell in love with lacrosse because of it's similarities: fast moving, physical, and engaging. By fifth grade, during the regular season, I was the Number One Goaltender on the First team and was able to continue honing my attack skills on the second team . I have been playing club summer lacrosse for the NJ Hurricanes since fifth grade. This past summer I split time with another goaltender. Since our team had a short roster I was able to contribute to our team at attack and midfield whenever I could to give my teammates a breather, resulting scoring 2 goals and a handful of assists. In the cage, I am an aggressive goalie and my athleticism and coachability are my greatest assets. In the months I'm not in my cleats, I lace up the skates and play travel hockey from August to February for NJ Rockets U16AAA as a defenseman. During that stretch I also start on the Varsity hockey team for Morris Knolls . In school, I have had a rigorous schedule since Freshmen year, taking 13 classes at the Honors or AP level, resulting in a unweighted B+ average. I am currently taking both AP U.S. History and AP Economics which are my two favorite classes. I also participate in DECA which is a business club. Throughout the year I raise money for the Ride to Defeat ALS in Wildwood which is a charity bike ride my family and I do together on Father's Day weekend in honor of my good friend's dad. I have been doing this for 5 years and a google search will link you to the fundraiser's site.

John is a tough and gritty player who brings a great energy to the field. He is a utility typer player who can play goalie and quarterback a defense but is also a lefty threat on the offensive end. He would be a great addition at the next level.
