John started playing lacrosse when he was in 2nd grade. He was originally coached by his father who was a scholarship player and Captain at Georgetown. He has been a top scorer on every team he has ever played on. He is a very strong player between the restraining boxes and a solid downhill dodger. However, his vision and quickness has his HS and Club coaches playing him as an X attackman more often especially since he is comfortable dodging from behind with both hands. Johnny just turned 16 and is finally catching up to his body, 6'2" 145 lbs. Johnny made the Player of the Tournament Honorable Mention list at the Fall Long Island Lax Fest in Farmingdale in 2019. Johnny would have been a starting attackman for Hackley School this past spring season prior to it being cancelled. Johnny was on varsity as a freshman last year. Hackley is an NY independent school in Tarrytown, NY.

Johnny is a two sport athlete who also plays basketball for Hackley. He was the leading scorer for the JV team last year. Hackley is a high academic private HS. Johnny's grade point average is 3.67. Hackley does not weight grades and its scoring is A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7, C+ =2.3, C = 2.0. Due to the pandemic, Johnny has not taken ACTs or SATs yet.
