JT has the qualities every coach dreams of. He is a true player-coach. His relentless and gritty attitude sets himself apart from many other defensemen. He is always willing to learn and change his game for the better. I have been coaching JT for 6+ years and he never ceases to amaze me how fast he is excelling. He has become a lock down defenseman, a surgeon at causing turnovers, and a dynamic force in the clearing game causing countless transition offense opportunities. He will be a HUGE asset to any collegiate team in more ways than one.

JT is one of the brightest minds on the team. Not only does he excel in the classroom, but he is a field general for our entire defense with a true understanding of individual and team defense. His motor never stops and he is fearless on the field, taking on any matchup that comes his way and making it work. Having the pleasure of working with Jay as his high school coach and as his club coach; I have no doubt in my mind that he will be an immediate impact at whatever school he ends up attending. His versatility as an LSM, wing and close defender makes him a hot commodity...a very Michael Pellegrino - esc player.
