I have had the privilege to coach Johnny the past 3 years. His Compete level is extremely high. He is tough nosed, aggressive, a great athlete, has a great stick and can play all over the field. He is very good on the wings of F/O, makes it look easy picking up tough ground balls similar to a hockey player, great wrists. On the defensive end 1v1 he rarely gets beat while causing a lot of turnovers by getting his stick in the right spot and disrupting O guys. Off ball he picks off a lot of passes, always in good position with his stick in skip lanes. He is a great teammate, someone who I would have loved to play with.

Johnny is an incredibly athletic defenseman that plays with anticipation of the next play. He has the ability to match up well against a variety of attackman making him Swiss Army knife on defense. His quickness and agility make him difficult to beat when he plays close defense. As a long stick midfielder he is extremely effective at winning loose balls. Johnny also has great stick skills which make him effective when clearing the ball in traffic. He can dodge and create offense once he crosses the midfield line.

Johnny has been making huge strides in his already great game this offseason. His natural strength makes him a nightmare to dodge against, and his lacrosse IQ and communication is excellent. Johnny is a true team player. For a full endorsement email Ty@AthletesUnitedLacrosse.com
