Junior year Awards: US Lacrosse All American Award, Team Captain. Team MVP voted by teammates, First Team All Section 6, All Western NY First Team. High School team won Section 6 Championship.
I started playing lacrosse at age 11 being introduced the game by my football coach. I had quickly fallen in love with lacrosse using my rebounder for 3 hours a day. The aggressive aspects of the game became natural to me and my stick skills became dominant to anyone else on my team even being a long pole. This past season I had started for my varsity lacrosse team as a sophomore at Orchard Park High School. At the end of the season I finished with 28 ground balls being on the 2nd Team Class A for Section Six. I am able to clear the ball with ease and I am best at my man on man defense at x. I am a captain on the soccer team and run indoor track. I also take classes that are very rigorous including AP European History and Honors Geometry. I am also a soon to be Eagle Scout volunteering almost every month. I am also musically inclined as I play the violin for my school. I am attending a week long National Youth Leadership Training Camp with the Scouts. I am also doing an internship at the University at Buffalo in the Medical School, as I am also participating in an engineering camp there too. I am currently training to become a lacrosse referee this summer.
