Anderson earned her bachelor's degree in human performance and health promotion from Morrisville in 2017 and was hired as an assistant coach at Marietta College shortly after graduation.

She spent four years at Marietta, where she coordinated recruiting and was intricately involved in all facets of running the program. She also worked as a volunteer women's basketball coach and served as a strength coach with the softball program for one year at Marietta.

In addition to her coaching roles at Marietta, Anderson also served as a lacrosse coach at the Nike Lacrosse Camp at Saint Vincent and has been a certified CrossFit Level 1 instructor since May of 2019.
