Jordan Anderson

Jordan Anderson joined the Slippery Rock coaching staff in August of 2021 as an interim assistant coach.

Anderson came to The Rock after spending four years as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Marietta College in Ohio.

Slippery Rock interim head coach Taryn Burkholder had the chance to coach Anderson as a player at Morrisville State College, where Anderson played both lacrosse and women's basketball. She was named the North Eastern Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was a first team ECAC Division III All-Star as a defender on the lacrosse field. Anderson was also a first team All-NEAC selection on the basketball court and set Morrisville State records for total field goals, free throws made, assists and steals while playing point guard for three seasons.

Anderson earned her bachelor's degree in human performance and health promotion from Morrisville in 2017 and was hired as an assistant coach at Marietta College shortly after graduation.

She spent four years at Marietta, where she coordinated recruiting and was intricately involved in all facets of running the program. She also worked as a volunteer women's basketball coach and served as a strength coach with the softball program for one year at Marietta.

In addition to her coaching roles at Marietta, Anderson also served as a lacrosse coach at the Nike Lacrosse Camp at Saint Vincent and has been a certified CrossFit Level 1 instructor since May of 2019.
