Jordyn Badalato
Recruit Profile
Ambidextrous Attacker who is a demonstrated winner with a high LAX IQ; a multi-sport athlete, 4.0 GPA; Resilience, Perseverance, Grit and Enthusiasm make me a competitive, coachable player and valued teammate.
In 3rd grade I began playing lacrosse when I joined my Town Club (Patriots Lacrosse). Two years later, I joined Unity Lacrosse (now) Lake Effect STORM Elite and have played on the 2022 Team for 4 years, where I am a starting Attacker on the nationally traveled team. As part of a talented offense, I am a strong, disciplined player who has the confidence to take over the game with a solid vision in high pressure situations. I demonstrate a consistent ability as being a threat to score and being able to find teammates for scoring opportunities. As an Ambidextrous Attacker, I am known for my quick-stick and speed in any position in the offensive zone. You may notice from my YouTube Channel that dodging, feeding and rolls are my specialty, but my outside crank shots are pretty impressive!
Lake Effect STORM Elite was ranked 49 out of 100 after one summer and has won many tournaments over the past three years, including New England Chill(2018), National Draw(2019), The Grind(2019), New England Cup(2020), Summer Genesis(2020).
After transferring to South Jefferson CSD from Immaculate Heart Central in 7th grade I played JV for two years. In 9th grade I was called up to Varsity. That year (2019), Spartans competed in the Section III Class D finals where we lost to Skaneateles by 1 in the last few seconds. As a Freshman Attacker with a large roster (25 - w/20% Seniors) I was able to share field time with Seniors and was typically (first) to go in. In 75 minutes of playing time, I scored 12 goals and 1 assist. 3 - 8M attempts resulted in 2 goals, where my quick stick and rocket shot came into play. I was expected to start this past year (2020) as an Attacker, where I would share in running the offense.
I have a 4.0 GPA and a strong course load with 5-6 AP Classes expected completion by the end of my Senior Year. My intent is to major in Pre-Med and have been on the honor roll since 9thgrade. I look forward to taking the SAT and ACT asap. Volunteer experience includes starting Non Profit Org, coaching youth lacrosse programs, 100+hours of community service with Key Club/SADD(2019-2020), MASH Camp(2019). Lastly, I play soccer and golf and enjoy training, fitness and nutrition
