I've been playing lacrosse for 6 years, and I love the sport more every season. I have been on Varsity since my freshman year, but couldn't play due to the pandemic. My sophomore year I was an asset to the team on the defensive end. I began playing club lacrosse with Thump Lacrosse, further developing my midfield and defensive skills. My skills demonstration led to a nomination to Top Left Nationals Club, which takes the best players from the more rural areas of the PNW to play in large recruiting tournaments. This year, my junior season, I led the team with 37 goals. I made First Team All-League for Midfield and was voted All-League Player of the Year 2022. I can dodge and shoot with both hands and some of my most valuable skills are my speed and ground ball control. I'm also pursuing an IB Diploma, and when I'm out of lacrosse season I volunteer on a Youth Mental Health Crisis Hotline. This hotline has spurred my love of people and my passion for mental health awareness, which I hope to pursue in college with a psychology or neurobiology degree.
