During my first year of high school lacrosse, I was able to learn the value of teamwork, commitment and sacrifice. The highlight of my freshman year was earning the starting varsity job for my high school team in a three way competition at the goalie position. Experiencing the challenge early in my high school career helped me grow as an athlete and leader on the field. This time provided the opportunity to prove my abilities to my coaches and teammates.

I like to take command of the defense with strong direct communication regarding positioning. However, I communicate to my defense in a positive way as much as possible. Good defense is team defense and in order to get the most out of my defenders, I encourage them to give 100% on every play, evaluate what happened on the previous play then move on to the next defensive series since that is the only play that can be effected at the moment.

I'm looking for an institution of higher learning that is academically challenging with a lacrosse program of equal status. My academic performance is very important to me and my family. I am, without exception, on the Honor Roll and intend to continue this high standard throughout my time in any institution of higher education.

I am looking forward to the next three years of high school lacrosse to only further my growth while defending the goal. I intend to display my work ethic and character on and off the field throughout the recruiting process.
