Julia has been my leader and a solid defender on our team for the past four years. She has such a strong lacrosse IQ and is able to direct her teammates as well as play at the top of her game. Very strong 1v1 defense especially on the crease. Not only can she cause turnovers and get ground balls, she stands out in athletic ability when clearing the ball and successfully getting it to the attacking end. Julia will not just be a great player, but an asset to whatever college team picks her up.

I have coached Julia for two years on Varsity. One of the things I love most about Julia is how coachable she is. She is always willing to learn and accepts feedback to help her improve. As a defender, she has good field awareness, knows when to slide into double teams and is a great communicator on the field with her teammates. She's a smart player that has awareness of her strengths and weaknesses and adapts to different situations in order to be the most successful. I can always count on her work ethic to be at 100%. She works hard in every drill and every game and is always wanting to get in as many reps as she can at practice. She is very dedicated player who always strives to improve and is a great teammate. Even as a younger player on our team last year, she was a good leader and role model for the entire team.
