I started playing lacrosse when I was in second grade. I played for the older team as a defender in my first year of lacrosse. I then started to play for my own age group as a strong midfielder and lead scorer. Our team went undefeated. That year I tried out for Team Elevate Lacrosse Club. I played attack and I continue to do so today. Although I am a multi-sport athlete including the varsity soccer goalie for my high school team, lacrosse is my passion. Academically, I am in all honors classes and I maintain a 4.2 average. I attend Cold Spring Harbor High School and I was picked for the National Arts Honors Society. I volunteer at the local thrift shop to help out to organize clothes and feed the homeless at a church. In addition, I am the president of the Students Against Destructive Decisions/Students Wage War Against Tobacco club (SADD/SWWAT). I was nominated by my peers and teachers to be a Natural Helper. I was interviewed and chosen to be part of the Youth Ambassador Program for the Foundation of my School.
