I started playing when I was about 8 years old. There was not a large difference between my local peers and I for the first few years even though I started playing a bit later than my teammates. My coaches saw my potential right away and pushed and worked with me. I was very motivated to play at a high level and began to work harder and more often to improve, so I made the decision to play on a travel team in the 5th grade. My skills improved quickly and in the 8th Grade I started as a Midfielder on my High School JV team but was asked to join the Varsity team by the coaches later in the season so that I could experience a higher level of play. Freshman year I was one out of only two Freshman to play at the Varsity level. I have a very powerful and quick shot, a fast sprint, and solid stick skills in both my dominant (R) and non dominant hand. I am also a skilled and aggressive defender. For my sophomore year at FLHS I am taking Honors Italian, Honors English and Honors Chemistry along with AP World History. Extracurriculars include assisting younger lacrosse players in our local program, volunteering with my local town/church and playing cello in my school orchestra. I also played high school JV Volleyball Freshman year and I enjoy skiing with my family.
