Juliana Talenti
Recruit Profile
Coachable, good eye on the field, multi-sport athlete, good teammate, aggressive, willing to play at multiple positions, strong lax IQ
I started playing lacrosse when I was 7. I wanted to be the best I could be on the field at that age, so I worked as hard as I could. I was always a very energetic kid who wanted to try every sport from lacrosse, to karate, and to soccer. I started playing soccer and doing karate at the age of 3, and I still continue to play them. My 8th grade lacrosse season I was 1 of 5 8th graders pulled up to play for the Bethpage High School Girls Varsity lacrosse team. I've now been playing on the team for 3 years and in all positions (i'll go where ever my coaches need me). In addition to Bethpage, I play for the Long Island Jesters and have been for 7 years. These past 3 years i've been put in different situations on the field and i'm confident enough to say that I am comfortable on the draw either self drawing it, going up with it, and even lefty. I'm very good at understanding man-on-man and zone defenses and can pick up on offensive plays fast. I play on the Varsity soccer team (defense) as well as the Varsity winter track team (55H, 55, 300, 200, 100). I have a 3.9 GPA and took all Honors and AP classes and next year I will be continuing with them. I've worked for my local karate studio where I am almost a Senior Black Belt, and I volunteer my time helping my mom with fundraisers for her school district and helping out the 3rd/4th grade Bethpage PAL girls lacrosse team as a certified junior coach.

Juliana is one of our teams go to midfielders who plays with a ton of passion and heart. She has above average lacrosse intelligence and is always looking to make adjustments if needed. She is outstanding on the draw circle and possesses great skills on both the offensive and defensive ends of the field. On offense she does an outstanding job helping her teammates get into our sets and plays and and is a great team player. On the defensive end she does a great job of reading and reacting to situations and has great anticipation. Her work ethic is atypical of most girls her age and she would be a great addition to any team.
