Julie D’Esposito joined the Haverford College women’s lacrosse team as an assistant coach prior to the 2020 season.

D’Esposito came to the Fords after spending one season as an assistant coach at Neumann where she helped guide the Knights to the Atlantic East Conference semifinals and a bid in the ECAC Tournament. She also currently serves as the NXT Lacrosse Head Coach & Supervisor where she oversees five youth club teams and is responsible for that program’s development and growth.

A 2014 graduate of West Chester University with a degree in communication studies, D’Esposito was a scholarship player at Division II Lock Haven from 2010-12 before becoming the President of the Women’s Lacrosse Club at West Chester. During her time at Lock Haven, D’Esposito played alongside Haverford head coach Katie Zichelli. D’Esposito was a member of two PSAC Championship teams, including the 2011 team which advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Division II Tournament. D’Esposito was named to the PSAC All-Academic Team while at Lock Haven while also serving as a Student-Athlete Advisory (SAAC) Committee representative.
