I have played both ice hockey and lacrosse since I was in second grade. I played travel hockey and club. I have always been considered a very strong player on the lacrosse team for my work ethic, coachability, my lacrosse IQ, and my stick skills. Because our hometown area was just developing the lacrosse program, I traveled further to acquire better coaching experience and changed clubs to grow and improve as a lacrosse player. Later, I played varsity as a freshman on my club high school team. Our high school acquired our first lacrosse team in my Junior year and I was elected Captain.

Academically, I am an Honor Roll student. I plan to pursue a career in Sports Management and Coaching. I also like Exercise Science, Physical Education, and Kinesiology. I really enjoy working with children. I have volunteered at a local Private School in Early Childhood Education for several years. I also volunteer at church activities including the Polar Plunge charity event and delivering food from the Comminity Garden to the local food bank. At school I annually support and help with the Four Diamonds Mini Thon. Personally I enjoy fishing, hiking, and kayaking. With an older sister who was a college athlete, I know the level of commitment necessary. My dream has always been to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. I have been told by several college coaches that I have the ability to play at this level. I believe I can.
