Jym Walters has served as the women's lacrosse coach at Saint Vincent since 2012.

Walters also serves as an assistant women's tennis coach after previously holding the head coaching position for the program from 2014-2017.

Walters has won three Coach of the Year awards, twice in women's lacrosse and once in women's tennis.

As the lacrosse coach, Walters led the women's lacrosse program to five straight appearances in the conference championship game (2013-17). Walters helped the Bearcats to back-to-back conference titles in 2014 and 2015.

Walters and the Bearcats compiled a 12-4 overall record and a 9-2 conference mark during the 2018 season. Under Walters' tutelage, senior Maggie Nelson put together a historic record breaking season that gained national attention. Nelson set six NCAA Division III records during the season: single-season goals (141), single-season points (178), points in a single game (19), career goals (364), goals per game in a season (8.81 per game) and points per game in a season (11.12 per game). With four goals in her final collegiate game in the ORLC Tournament semifinals against W&J, she eclipsed Ashley Hansbury of Curry College as the all-time leading goal scorer in Division III history. Hansbury's record of 362 career goals had stood since the 2011 season. Set an NCAA Division III single-game points record with 19 points (11 goals, 8 assists) against Chatham University on April 11. Nelson earned several awards following the season, as she was named an IWLCA All-West Region performer. She was also voted Offensive Player of the Year by both the ECAC and the ORLC for the second straight season. She was named First Team All-ORLC for a third straight season and fourth time overall and was recognized as a First Team selection by the ECAC for a second straight season. Nelson was also named a Google Cloud Academic All-America At-Large selection by CoSIDA and was selected as Saint Vincent's female representative at the PAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year banquet. In recognition of her stellar season, Nelson was listed in the "Faces In The Crowd" feature in the May 21st issue of Sports Illustrated.

In 2017, Walters led the Bearcats to the conference championship game for a fifth straight season. SVC finished with a 12-5 overall record. Nelson finished as the statistical points champion in Division III with 134 points. The total tied for the 12th highest single-season point total in Division III women's lacrosse history.
