COACH RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is my pleasure to recommend Kaelyn. Kaelyn is the type of player that every coach dreams of having. She in an impact player in games who is always looking to improve her play. On the field, she is communicative and maintains her composure, even in high pressure situations. Kaelyn truly is the leader of the defense. She directs her teammates in an efficient and effective manner to limit the offensive opportunities for the opposing team. When shots are taken, Kaelyn plays on the balls of her feet to be prepared to position herself to react quickly to the ball. Kaelyn focuses on tracking the ball with her eyes and her body to commit to the save. She is explosive and able to change direction quickly. She is not afraid to step up on the crease to put pressure on a fast break shooter to limit the open space available for a shot. Kaelyn is a very intelligent player and anticipates where a shooter is planning to place the ball. She rarely is deceived by fakes. On clears, Kaelyn understands when to be patient and when to push the pace with a quick clear.

Kaelyn joined my team this fall and has made a strong and immediate impact. She is a dynamic goalie and has fit well into an established team, which can sometimes be hard to do. From my previous experience with Kaelyn through the club lacrosse scene and in the past fall season, she has tenacity and is eager to learn. Kaelyn rises to any challenge given to her, and she is a solid goalie navigating her way to a leadership role on defense. Kaelyn is a pleasure to coach and I am excited to see her continue to grow and the positive impact she will have as we get to the summer tournament season.
