Kaitlyn DiLoreto
Recruit Profile
Competitive, coachable, aggressive and adaptable multi-sport athlete determined to succeed in the classroom and on the field.
A fearless athlete and trustworthy teammate with the ability to play multiple positions, I started playing lacrosse in 6th grade for my town program, taking on some of the best competition in the area. It was this early experience that sparked my love for the game. Fortunate to be heading into my 4th year with the Shoreline Sharks club program, I've had the opportunity to play with some of the most talented women in the state who are not only amazing athletes, but have become great friends. Being a part of such a great club program has allowed me to become more versatile and grow as a leader on an off the field. Comfortable and strong using both hands, I pride myself on my footwork, coordination, and quickness to play shut down defense every time I step on the field. As a way to give back to the younger generation of lacrosse players, I became a certified youth official. Along with my passion for lacrosse, I play high school soccer and basketball, volunteer with the Miracle League, am a member of Peers Reaching Out and Best Buddies CT, all while maintaining a 4.24 weighted GPA at a top high school in the state of CT. Academics will always be a top priority for me, as I am currently taking AP History, Med Term ECE, and was inducted into the Spanish Honors Society.
