I have been playing lacrosse since kindergarten as an attacker, then made the switch to defense in 8th grade, found my calling and never looked back. One of my goals is to play at the collegiate level, but I also have an understanding that academics is extremely important, and will set me up for my next phase of life after college. I am very goal driven, and determined to conquer any challenge in front of me on and off the field. As an effect, I have a great amount of work ethic. As you will be seeing me strive to be the best player/person I can be.
I have been selected to the 2020 Under Armour 150, made my HS varsity team as a freshman, I am a previous Brine All-American, and I consistently lead my club team in interceptions. I believe the key to my defensive play is being able to think like an attacker. Therefore, being able to be one step ahead of the player. I have been told that my defense is technically smooth and in sync. Furthermore, having excellent footwork/agility, explosiveness when necessary, and can easily anticipate what the next offensive move would be. I communicate strongly and effectively with others. In addition, you will catch me leading the fast break, and contributing on offense when appropriate.
In the classroom I have a solid A average. As a result, making National Honor Society. I love a good challenge...picking harder courses each year. For example, I am starting my first AP class next year. Out of school, I like spending time with my friends, hiking, fishing, playing the ukulele, and creating projects from practically nothing. In my spare time I volunteer locally with my charity organization. I am a 4 year member of National Charity League, giving back by participating in hundreds of non-profit organizations. Finally, I have a 7 year old lax dog named Belle, who loves to accompany me on and off the field!
