Recruit Profile
Skillful, smart, team-centric, tough goalie with extensive lax-perience. Made varsity lacrosse and field hockey as a freshman.
I have played lacrosse since kindergarten which has helped my stick skills and game focus to be second nature. I enjoy being a leader on defense as a goalie to help the team see emerging cuts.
In February 2022 at the Apex Winter Goalie Showcase in Maryland, I was the "Queen of the Cage" champion out of 67 goalies from a dozen or more states.
In the fall I play varsity field hockey as a field defender (not goalie) in addition to fall club lacrosse. For the 2021 season, I was 1st team all-conference, and 2nd team all-county.
Special thanks to my team for their relentless defense at every position.
I have a deep love for lacrosse and enjoy the team atmosphere. With three older brothers, I grew up on the sidelines of their lacrosse, football and wrestling events. I have the world's greatest lacrosse mutt named Lupi.

Kalyn is a hard working young athlete! Kalyn knows the importance of mental strength, physical strength, and hard work that goes into being a goalie and she is always working on each of those categories in conjunction with one another. One of her main strengths is honing in on a mistake made to make it better through targeted skill practice. She is an open communicator and actively strives to improve to better herself and her teammates. I have seen her grow and become more vocal on the field over time. She works on her skills of speed, footwork, saves, and clears in the off season and has not let the pandemic set her back one bit. She displays a passion for the game of lacrosse and a love of being a part of a team sport on a daily basis. Kalyn sets goals for herself and actively works towards them. I can’t wait to see what this year brings for her on the field and in the cage as she leads her defense.
