Competitive, aggressive, and well-rounded/versatile. I motivate others around me (on AND off the field). Small but mighty. Willing to adapt!
I have been playing lacrosse for ten years. I was the leading scorer throughout my youth program, and represented my town in the CONNY All-Star game. I started varsity for both field hockey and lacrosse this year as a sophomore (covid canceled my freshman seasons), and helped my high school team win the lacrosse conference title for the first time ever. I was also selected for the All Conference lacrosse team. Coaches often comment that I play with passion and have a high lax IQ. I score goals, but I am a beast at ground balls, forced turnovers and assists too. I juggle multiple sports (I also tap dance and won gold at the World Tap Championship in Germany with the USA Tap Team in 2018!) while excelling in the classroom, maintaining high honors, officiating youth lacrosse games and doing volunteering work. In addition to sports and classes, I am a member of the Superintendent's Advisory Council and Best Buddies Club. I am also a member of the World Language Honor Society and the founder of the Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society chapter at my school. Lacrosse is such a big part of my life, and I would like to continue playing at a competitive level. I am a dedicated, hard-working student athlete with a very challenging academic schedule, and hope to work in the medical field in the future.

Kami is the coach on the field. She has a game sense that adjusts automatically to the pace of the game and the context of the season. She has the ability to attack against the most stubborn defenses and defend against the most efficient attackers. Her skills appear to be natural as she makes it look effortless on the field, however she dedicates her time to her passion and it shows in her skills, game sense and overall understanding of the sport. Her competitiveness is fierce and losing is not an option for her. Kami Labella will be a name that will be attached to this sport for a long time. I assure you that she will coach, referee and play for many years to come.
