I am a junior at Cranford High School in New Jersey. I have been playing lacrosse since the second grade and started playing club lacrosse in fifth grade. I play midfield for my club team, T3 North 2021 Black, and for my high school team. As a freshman, I was one of two selected for my high school's varsity team and I was the only freshman who started every game. I am speedy in transition, aggressive on the draw (while always having the first step) and I attack 50/50's and ground balls. I am also confident in one-versus-one defense situations. My goal is to always demonstrate leadership and have a positive attitude in every situation. During my freshman year, I earned my first-degree black belt in Ryu-Te karate after ten years of practice. I am a member of the winter track team. My work ethic on the field is what I also apply in the classroom and I am in my high school's University Program. Freshman year I took AP World History and I scored a 5 on the AP exam. Sophomore year, I took AP Human Geography and scored a 5 as well. Throughout high school so far, I have maintained a position on the Honor Roll and Distinguished Honor Roll. I ended sophomore year with one A+, two As, three A-s and one B+, making my cumulative NCAA GPA 3.64 and my weighted GPA 4.4. In junior year, I am taking 4 AP classes (English Language, Chemistry, US History and Spanish). For extracurricular activities, I am a member of the mock trial and play violin in the school orchestra and our advanced chamber music ensemble. To contribute to the community and the growth of my sport, I volunteer each year for Cranford's youth recreational lacrosse program practices, clinics, and tournaments. I also am a PRIDE peer leader and peer tutor within my school.
