Coachable, highly disciplined defensive leader with the ability to read the field. Strong Lax IQ with strong communication skill. Multi-sport athlete, helpful to teammates.
I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade. At the time, I enjoyed defense more than any position--I always loved keeping the aggressive girls from trying to score! By 5th grade I moved into the cage and became my PAL team's only goalie. I worked with my coach, whose daughter was also a goalie and is committed to a D1 Ivy program (2022 Graduate), and my dad, who completed US Lacrosse's Goalie training program in order to help me continue having fun. I competed as the JV Goalie with my high school team as an 8th grade athlete. I also play Field Hockey, and I would love to be able to play both sports in college. I am taking pre-AP History and plan to continue AP coursework in preparation for a rigorous academic experience in college.

I had the pleasure of coaching Katarina through our local youth program, where she became our only goalie and I was also involved with coaching her at the club level for a brief time. Katarina is a hard working, focused, and very skilled goaltender. She has a strong clear, good vision of the field and she rivals any goalie in the 2025 class. The extra work that Katarina puts in outside of team practices is evident by her play. In addition to Katarina's athletic accomplishments she is also an excellent student. She is current enrolled in AP coursework to prepare her for college.
