Sherman comes to WPU from Elmira College in Elmira, N.Y., where she served as interim head coach the past year. During her shortened tenure (the program was cut in the spring), she guided her squad to a 5-4 record, its first winning campaign since 2006.

Sherman joined the Elmira staff as a graduate assistant coach in the fall of 2019 before being promoted to interim head coach status after one year.

While in New York, Sherman coached the Gaffer Elite club team as well. During the fall of 2016, Sherman gained her first coaching experience with the Braveheart club team in Florida.

A native of Florida, Sherman is a 2019 graduate of Ave Maria University with a degree in Exercise Physiology. At Ave Maria, she was a four-time all-conference honoree. She was also a Second-Team All-American in 2017, garnered a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection in 2019, and was a two-time captain. The school’s Senior Female Athlete of the Year honoree, she departed Ave Maria as the program’s all-time leader in scoring.

Sherman earned her Master’s of General Management from Elmira in 2021.
