I started playing lacrosse in 1st grade with a recreational team. The game of lacrosse has changed my life since I started playing. My freshman year I was on the Junior Varsity team. Even though my season was cut short, since I didn't make Varsity I made it my goal to become a leader on the team. I started in our first scrimmage as a midfielder and took the draws. Although we lost that game, I scored the first and only goal of the game. This year, I tried out for the Yellowjackets Mid-Atlantic team and I made it. So far I have very good grades and I am up to date on my school work. In the summer of 2018 I volunteered at a church camp and helped with children whose families go to work in the summer. With the volunteer program, I did a food drive with my fellow volunteers and stocked a food pantry for the homeless.
