I started playing softball in 3rd grade and lacrosse in the spring of 5th. I continued to play both until the spring of 7th where I decided to pursue lacrosse exclusively.

When I first started lacrosse, I was asked if I would play defense because of the skills I had developed playing basketball for several seasons. Just like I loved being a catcher in softball and stopping someone from scoring, I love shutting down the other teams chance at a goal. I am comfortable at playing man-to-man and all positions in a backer zone defense.

I play on my high schools varsity lacrosse team as a starting midfielder. Last year I was also on the varsity Cross Country team. After practicing with two lacrosse teams and XC training all summer, I decided that Lacrosse was the sport I was most passionate about and where I should put all of my focus. This fall, In addition to my two lax practices a week, I have added two speed and agility lessons and on my off days, I am doing additional training on my own.

Along with sports, my grades are very important to me. I am taking all honors and AP classes, I have a 4.6 GPA and I am currently ranked 11th out of 540 students in my class. My most recent PSAT score is a 1290. I also do a lot of volunteer hours through various activities each year and have received the Girl Scout Bronze Award and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.

Many of my past coaches have commented on how coachable I am and that I make good choices. I am a player that will give my all, every day at every practice and at every game. I am a steady player and a teammate that can be relied upon both on and off the field.
