I like to think of myself as being coachable, a team player with excellent game IQ, determined, strong both mentally and physically, goal oriented and focused, a multi-sport athlete, happy, friendly, and personable.
My name is Katie Clare and I live along the south shore of Long Island. When I'm not playing lacrosse or soccer, I'm with my family, friends, or pets. My favorite is my puppy, Tucker, along with two other dogs, two cats, a chinchilla, and . . . two pigs!!! I love going to the beach with my friends, as it's a 10 minute ride across the bay to Fire Island. In the winter, I LOVE cross training at Revolution Athletics and snow boarding when we can.
I started playing lacrosse at age 5 and continued with BBP youth lacrosse through to 8th grade. I began playing for Long Island Yellow Jackets in 3rd grade and still play for them. I was selected to play Bayport-Blue Point (BBP)Varsity lacrosse as an 8th grader and playing with them presently. I also play soccer for the HS team and cross train at Revolution Athletics in Bohemia.
I've consistently made honor/high honor roll since 6th grade and was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society in 8th grade. This past June I was inducted into the National Honor Society. I maintain a rigorous academic schedule with emphasis on advanced Science, Math, and English. Below are a list of athletic achievements:

One of my goals this coming year is to volunteer more. I've volunteered with our local lacrosse programs and school but would like to do more.

Katie has been playing for me on YJ for 7 years now. She is a fierce athlete. Katie has great vision, is smart off ball offensively and is not afraid to go to goal. Her quickness is a huge asset to her game as she is a great dodger from up top and allows her to be extremely athletic 1v1 defensively. She is very coachable and excels at learning on the go. Katie is a multi-sport athlete and is an asset to any team.
