Always working harder than than anyone else. Disciplined, determined, and passionate about the game. Multi-sport athlete with very strong Lax IQ. Team Player/Coachable above all else.
Over the last six years playing for my club team I have become a leading scorer as a midfielder and dominant at defense both on by club and high school teams. My speed and my ball handing skills are my strengths. I read the plays very well and share the ball equally with my teammates. I was a three sport letterman as a freshman, Varsity Cross-Country, Track, and Lacrosse and considered very fast at short and long distance. I am a straight A student and have refed as a Junior Lacrosse Official for Tampa's Women's lacrosse for the last three years. I am in the Mu Alpha Theta Math Club, Best Buddies and recently Beta National Honor Society. Over the last year I have volunteered at the Life Treasure's Hospice Thrift Store helping both the back end and front end of the store where needed. I have a passion for lacrosse and want to play at the highest level. I love being apart of a team and feed off my teammates energy.

Katie is an well-rounded athlete who has great field sense and high lacrosse IQ. She has an incredibly fast first step on the draw and is one of the faster players I have coached. Katie works hard at practice and puts in a lot of time outside of the HS schedule to improve her overall athleticism and skills. She is equally talented with her right and left hand, and she can play attack or defense with skill. She is an unselfish midfielder who is almost always involved in our transition game as her stamina and versatility make her hard to stop. Our track team takes advantage of that speed and stamina; Katie runs cross-country and also runs spring track (which she balances with her commitment and dedication to her lacrosse team). Katie is a good teammate and she is highly coachable.
