Katie Lasater was named the assistant coach at Washington & Lee University in September 2021.

In Lasater's first season, the 2019 Golden Bears secured a program-high five PSAC wins (5-7) and tied the mark for overall wins with seven (7-9) since women's lacrosse was reinstated at KU in 2008.

Before arriving at Kutztown, Lasaster spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Arcadia University. The Knights won 19 games during that span and finished at .500 or above in each season. Lasater helped Arcadia to a pair of ECAC Tournament appearances and a spot in the 2018 MAC Commonwealth Championship tournament.

Lasater coached for Philly Blast Lacrosse Club prior to her time at Arcadia, where she focused on improving player skill and preparing players to compete at the collegiate level. She also served as a private instructor for middle and high school aged girls, building individualized lessons tailored to skill level. Lasater is also a PIAA certified official.

A 2016 graduate of Cabrini University, Lasater graduated with a bachelors degree in marketing with minors in sports management and finance. She was a four-year member of the Cavalier womens lacrosse team and three-year starter.

In 2013, the Malvern, Pennsylvania, native led Cabrini in goals, was named All-CSAC Second Team. She claimed CSAC Championship tournament MVP honors in 2016. During Lasater's time at Cabrini, the womens lacrosse team won four CSAC championships and made four trips to the NCAA Division III Championship tournament. She concluded her playing career with 94 goals and 32 assists for 126 points.
