I am a dual sport athlete that has been playing soccer since I was 4 and lacrosse since I was 12. I am currently a sophomore at Venice High School and have been playing Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse since I started as a freshman. My soccer team just competed in the Class 6A State Championship game and I have played an integral role on that team for the past two years as a player and a leader. In addition, I have been a starter on our Varsity Lacrosse team since my Freshman year as a Midfielder. I led the team in goals and was second for assists during my Freshman year, and the two games we were able to play this year before our season was sadly cut short due to the Coronavirus, I finished with 3 goals, 1 assist, 12 draw controls, and 2 interceptions. I am a leader on and off the field, an example setter with my work ethic, a vocal and intense defensive player, and a fast and smart offensive player. I am also a member of the LaxManiax CDP Mixed team and love the opportunity to play with girls from all over the state and compete in tournaments with them. I am currently enrolled in the IB program at my high school with a unweighted GPA of 3.8. Both of my high school teams are very involved in community service. For example, this past Fall I volunteered with our community's Challenger Baseball team whose mission is to "provide a safe environment for players with physical and/or cognitive challenges to enjoy the experience of athletic participation and sportsmanship." I am also a volunteer coach for our local club lacrosse program, the Sarasota Seahawks, and enjoy inspiring and motivating younger players.
