Recruit Profile
Dynamic, independent, resilient, coachable student athlete determined to learn and grow in classroom and on the field. As a 2-sport athlete, I have strong Lax IQ, leadership skills, teamwork, adaptability.

I have had a lacrosse stick in my hand & have been playing on a team since age 6 and by age 10, I realized I want to play at the collegiate level. I take the initiative to improve my play and to be a better teammate by listening to and accepting feedback from my coaches, practicing and conditioning on my own time, and watching a ton of women's college lacrosse! I have always been a midfielder and taken draws, but when I joined the Maryland United Lacrosse Club in Fall 2020, I learned to play Attack, specifically at X. I may not score as many goals as I did as a middie, but I am learning to be patient, anticipate my teammates' cuts, then thread that needle and feed for assists! I truly enjoy lacrosse and most importantly, I have fun while playing.

Being both a lacrosse and basketball player has improved my leadership skills, teamwork, knowing the importance of communicating with and trusting my teammates, adaptability and field/court awareness. Playing basketball has helped me become a more dynamic lacrosse player by improving my skills in setting picks, running pick and rolls, passing and cutting, redefending, playing offense and defense, anticipating and being aggressive.

While school and lacrosse are my top priorities, I also believe it is important to be well-rounded and have interests outside the classroom and field. In my spare time, I surf as much as I can, play the guitar, work year-round, volunteer in my community, and spoil my two adorable labradoodles.
