Recruit Profile
high intensity on and off the field, extreme focus and energy, strong work ethic and motivation, eager to learn, my speed is an asset
I am the only starting freshman on my Varsity high school lacrosse team, which is ranked #10 in the state of New Jersey. I attend Glen Ridge High School. This season, my team won the Essex County Tournament, the Super Essex Conference, along with coming 2nd in the Stars and Stripes Conference. This year I earned my team's Rookie of the Year award.
I having been playing lacrosse since the second grade when I was 8 years old. I played for the club Tristate but I have now switched to Mad Dog. This past summer I played on the Mad Dog National Select team, which participates in tournaments across the country with girls from all over the country. This was a great experience and opportunity to learn to play with new people and to work together as team. My team won the UWLX Summer Draw in Maryland and we went to the Sand Storm lacrosse festival tournament in California last January.
I also played both JV and Varsity soccer for my high school and this winter I ran winter track. In school I take Honors Biology, Honors English, Honors History, and Honors French. I have received high honor roll for my grades throughout the year. I participate in 2 clubs: Girls Club, a service club where we do charity work for our local community and Sharing the Arts, where we teach songs and dances to people with disabilities so they can perform a play.
