Kayla Mitchell
Recruit Profile
Involved in the community/variety of activities, determined, tenacious, strong willed a natural born leader, always ready to learn
I have always been involved in my community, participating in various activities, and being a leader throughout everything I do. I began playing lacrosse in about 4th grade and in my first year I made a travel team called Blue Devils. In my 6th grade year I made the brine national team which really struck a competitive fire under me to constantly get better. I eventually made Jv lacrosse in 7th grade and in my 8th grade year I began playing on JV lacrosse as a captain, but played half of the year on Varsity. This past year in 10th grade, I made FLGs super sophs list as well as leading up team in ground balls and caused turnovers. I have done multiple camps, clinics, prospect days, and showcases all due to my love of lacrosse and improving my craft. Outside of lacrosse in 5th grade I was on MasterChef Junior and began my own business teaching cooking classes to my younger peers. Since than I have been in multiple news articles, tv shows, magazines, and YouTube videos for my multiple accomplishments and interest/talent in cooking. When I am not cooking, I play tennis and winter track. I also am on the junior board for a local organization called helping makes you happy. I also have been in Girl Scouts since kindergarten and am currently working on my gold award. Although I participate in so much, academics is something very important to me being in multiple ap and college classes. In school I am also in the volunteering club called Key club, DECA (business club), yearbook club, and future teachers club. I am passionate about everything that I participate in and am always excited to accomplish great things!
