My name is Keira Troy and I am a three sport Varsity athlete at The Pingry School, which includes starting Varsity Field Hockey player, Varsity Lacrosse and Varsity Basketball player as a Freshman. I have grown up with a love of playing lacrosse since I was very young, and have an older brother who will be playing D1 lacrosse at UPenn.

I have also played club lacrosse for BBL Elite for the past 5 years. In summer 2022, I was chosen for the New Jersey Under Amour Command Team. In summer 2021 I was chosen to represent New Jersey as a player on the American Select team and on the Athletes Unlimited Futures team. I pride myself on being a dedicated, coachable, hard-working and passionate student athlete with a high lacrosse IQ.

This year, Pingry honored me with an award for being one of four freshman to be a three sport Varsity athlete. In addition to my athletics, I have won the scholarship award at Pingry, which is earning an A+ average in all classes, for the past 4 years. Freshman year, I have challenged myself by increasing my course load to take Honors Trig Algebra and Latin 3, which are junior level classes. I have also taken Honors Biology in my freshman year. Sophomore year, I am in Honors Latin 4, Honors Chemistry, Honors Biology, Honors Precalculus in addition to taking AP World and Ap English Language Exams. I am also an elected student representative of my class, a student ambassador, bluekey ambassador, volunteer for multiple charities and part of stem club since I feel it is important to serve and be a part of my school community. I have also worked for the Pingry School in the summer as a camp counsellor since 8th grade.
