I started playing lacrosse when I was ten. I was immediately excited by how fast the game moved, and the idea of hitting each other with sticks was really fun. I couldn't get enough of it, so I joined a club team, Frog Lacrosse. This opened up so much for me. With every season I become a better player through the support, training, and close bond between my coaches, teammates and myself. I love Frog because it has given me so many opportunities to play and grow that I wouldn't have otherwise. For three years in a row, we played in Colorado, which has exposed me to a level of competition I do not see in Minnesota and Wisconsin. In 2019, we are traveling to the East Coast, which will bring new competition. I am also excited to play in a Box Lacrosse tournament in Milwaukee in a few weeks. For other sports, I have played, soccer, football and basketball. I am a member of Business Professionals of America and compete with them every year. I volunteer with my family at Feed My Starving Children, which is a great organization that provides nutritious meals to children in many different countries.
