Recruit Profile
Fast, disciplined, great footwork, with a strong Lax IQ; I'm an under-the-radar player who will be an amazing team asset

I started playing lacrosse in 4th grade and began playing defense the following year. Ever since, I have maintained my status as an A-team player, leading up to my starting position on Varsity. Lyons Township Lacrosse was tremendously successful this year. Climbing to seventh in state, we capitalized in an overtime win against Naperville Central in the second round of playoffs. I worked diligently as starting LSM, yet was also flexible at playing close defense whenever there was an injury. This interchangeability has allowed me to be efficient in my speed, strength, and footwork. I am incredibly proud to be on this team, but I also have many passions off the lacrosse field as well. Academically, I love to learn about history. This past year I took AP European History and was one of a few to get an A out of over 90 students. Not only was it challenging, but I had a lot of fun doing it as well. While I do find history as my favorite subject, expect me to work just as hard in every other class I may be in - from gym to math. Outside of school, I am also an avid debate member, often reaching high honors in whatever "chamber" I may be in. The competition in the Chicago area is very intense, however the enjoyment thrives in this very competitive environment. My competitive spirit is apparent in the Church League basketball program I am a part of. I am proud to say we won the championship tournament this year, but not without help from every one of the nine guys on my team. In addition to playing basketball for my Church, Saint John of the Cross, I am also very active in other aspects of it as well. My love of public speaking grows as I frequently lecture on Sundays. When I am not lecturing, expect me to be sacristining, where I help prepare the Church for Mass. In the summer, I am an "A" caddie at the La Grange Country Club. While I am not necessarily any good at golfing, I carry myself to work diligently as a team with my golfer. Ultimately, I work very hard on and off the field - maintaining my position as a friend, classmate, caddie, and teammate, and I look forward to continue my talents and positions well into college and beyond.
