I have been on a club team (Dewlax) since 7th grade. I am equally comfortable with both my right and left hands because I first learned to play with my left hand when I was young although I am actually right-hand dominant. I have a strong crease roll and often score from that area. I am a great feeder; I see the field well and make good passes. I have experience playing all field positions but I play attack and sometimes mid on my club team. I am a strong runner and am good in transitions, and learn plays quickly. I am aggressive in getting ground balls and re-defending. Besides club and varsity lacrosse, I play varsity ice hockey and JV soccer. I have very strong academics. I am taking 4 AP classes my junior year (AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP US History, and AP English) which is the largest number of APs I could take this year. Last year I took AP Statistics, the only AP available to sophomores, and got a 5 on the AP Exam. I have about a 4.0 GPA, and got a 1500 the first time I took the SAT (I am confidant I will be able to improve my score.) I was class president my freshman year and have since been a part of student government. I spend a lot of time volunteering for two local charities: Soccer Buddies, where I coach children with special needs in soccer, and Teens for Teens, an entirely teen-run organization that fundraises to support teenagers in New Jersey who are in tough situations.
