Recruit Profile
I'm an athlete, scholar and musician. I am a leader but also a team player. My coaches appreciate my passion, field awareness and strong stick skills.

I have played lacrosse for nine years. I started out playing boys lacrosse since my town did not have a girls lacrosse program. I played for our local club and also several travel teams. When I was a freshman, I decided to give girls lacrosse a try, which was one of the best choices I've ever made. I made varsity as a freshman, and I received the award for the most Valuable Offensive Player. I was also an All-EBAL Honorable Mention as a freshman and have been the leading scorer on my team every season. I am willing and able to play any position, doing whatever my coaches need from me. I am very coachable and always looking for ways to improve.

I also enjoy music. I play the trombone in my school's jazz and symphonic bands, both of which are audition-based ensembles. My playing has only been improving, and I even auditioned and was accepted into the NorCal Honor Band, made up of Northern California's best high school musicians. I also won Outstanding Musicianship awards for my solo performance in several jazz band competitions.

Academics are also very important to me, and as a result I've maintained a 4.3 GPA throughout my high school career. Balancing school, music and sports has required me to develop good study habits and time management. I scored 1310 on the SAT at the beginning of my junior year. I am hoping to take the test again in the fall and improve my score.

I have acquired leadership skills both through lacrosse and various other extra-curriculars. I was co-captain of the JV basketball team last year, where we faced some challenges when injuries left us with a roster of just seven players. I tried to lead by example, playing nearly every minute of every game and never giving up or getting frustrated, even when we were losing badly. My experiences that season earned me the Cowboy Award, the highest possible award for sports leadership at Livermore High. Girl Scouts has also taught me about leadership and working with others, not only making me a better leader, but a better team player. This fall I will also be a section leader for my school's marching band. It will be my responsibility to help teach freshmen the basics and equip my peers for success.

In my free time I enjoy surfing, hiking, and photography.

I coached Kinsey as a youth player while transitioning into High School. She is an athletic player, who sees the field well. Her toughness, work ethic, and coachability always stood out. It's great seeing her progress and skill development continue in high school.

Kinsey is an outstanding, hard working and versatile player. She easily can transition from midfielder to attacker and has an accurate and very powerful shot. Her stick work is fantastic and never one to shy away from putting in extra work before/after practices.

Kinsey is a tenacious player and has incredible potential. Amazing stick work-- doesn't matter which side of the field you push her to, she is always a threat. She has a great eye for when to drive and manages to work her way through the toughest defense. Excellent shot placement.
