I have been playing lacrosse for 6 years. I was only the 5th freshman to have ever made the varsity team. My strongest position is LSM but during my sophomore season, I played most of the year as a close D to help my team. Some of my strengths as a player are leadership, speed and quickness with the ability to defend up high and in space. This year, I lead off season workouts and ran fall captains practices along with scrimmages. I was voted in as a varsity team captain this year for my junior season. I have also helped coach the Lake Zurich youth camps. I had played soccer through middle school where I was a team captain and won a school wide award for athletic leadership. I chose to focus on lacrosse because I love playing the sport and want to see how far I can go. I excel academically. I currently have a cumulative GPA of 4.3 out of 4. All of my classes are honors level or AP, including orchestra where I play the bass. I'm on the high honor roll, recently accepted into the National Honor Society and have been student of the month twice. I was selected for 'FAME', a freshman advisory program during my junior year. I was also selected for the PE Leadership Program which entails community involvement my junior year and leading classes during my senior year. Areas of interest in college are engineering, science and business. In the winter, I'm very into snowboarding and I enjoying traveling to see different places.
