My name is Kristen Rhee, graduating in the year of 2020. I am a hard working, coachable, unselfish, and determined athlete who strives to become better in anyway I can. I am never satisfied with myself, whether it be stick skills, shot skills, footwork, and conditioning, as I always aim to excel in all categories of the sport. I started my lacrosse journey as a freshman at Edison High-School, however I set a goal for myself to make varsity the following year. Over the summer of 2017, I disciplined myself to pick up my stick everyday and work on my stick skills, whether it be countless hours of wall ball and shooting. I would ask my coaches to help me privately as well as mentally. Sophomore year I was a starter for the varsity team, and during my Junior Year I was named 2nd team all conference/region. Senior year I am currently captain of the Edison Varsity lacrosse team. What makes me different, is that I started the sport later than many other athletes, however my passion and dedication to excel and grow the sport is compared to those who began the sport at a very young age. I always take what my coaches and teammates say into consideration, and I would love to work to excel in the next level of my lacrosse career.
