Kyle Rolley
Recruit Profile
Strong Lax IQ, coach-able, strong communicator and leader, hard worker, mentally tough athletic player with quick hands and proven track record of success.
I have been playing lacrosse since the first grade, playing for the Plano West Youth team as well as club teams. In 2016, I had the honor of being awarded All World, First Team Goalie at the World Series of Youth Lacrosse. As a youth player, I made the DFW All Star Team 3 years in a row. In the past 3 years, I have made the All Star Teams multiple times in NXT and T99 showcases. I have been invited to play in the Blackcard Showcase three times and enjoyed the high level of play at Maverik Showtime event. I currently play for the Texas Mustangs, Ironhorse/Dallas and Rising Sons/Philadelphia.
This past summer (2019) my SV% was .68 with GAA of 4.6. I had 229 total saves! A couple of highlights for me was playing at Maverik Showtime. During this event, I had a GA Avg of 5.3 and a SV% of .72 with 42 saves. Another highlight for me was the SW UA Call Back Game. I played in the second half and pitched a shutout with 8 saves.
This summer I was accepted into the Episcopal School of Dallas, and I had the opportunity to travel with the team to play in the NHSLS and the Ohio State Team Camp. It was great getting to play with the talented ESD team! I have a rigorous class schedule and am in the National Honor Society.
I am a multi-sport athlete - I have played football and tennis on the school teams. I have been playing tennis since I was in first grade. I am a member in the Young Men's Service League, where my Mom and I volunteer for various charities. I am a regular volunteer for Aceing Autism, where I work with Autistic kids teaching them how to play tennis.
I try to get as much training as I can so I continue to improve. I have had great training in the Ironhorse Program with Coach Surran. This past summer I attended Net Nation and The Goaliesmith Experience for additional goalie training. I was identified as a "Goaliesmith Experience 2021 Top Performer" by Inside Lacrosse, which was pretty cool.
I am a team leader, a great listener and communicator. I work hard, am competitive and mentally tough.
