Kyle Rhatigan was named the assistant coach to the Mars Hill University mens lacrosse program in the fall of 2018.

Rhatigan comes from the University of Mary Washington where he served in the same role.

He was previously an assistant coach for the Footscray Lacrosse club in Australia, Boiling Springs High School in South Carolina and Team 24/7, an elite high school level club in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rhatigan played his collegiate lacrosse at Limestone College. While at Limestone, Rhatigan finished second all-time with 271 career points and set a school record for most points in a single season with 100. He was a member of two National Championship teams (2014, 2015) and appeared in the 2016 championship game. After his collegiate career, Rhatigan was selected 87th in the 2016 Major League Lacrosse Supplemental Draft by the Charlotte Hounds.

Rhatigan collected several accolades while playing for Limestone including Lacrosse Magazine Division II Player of the Year, a two-time All-America honoree and was a three-time All-Conference Carolina selection. He served as captain during the 2016 season.

Rhatigan is a native of Holbrook, New York.
