I started playing lacrosse at the age of 6. I started out mostly at midfield on the draw but my coaches used me at all positions. In 7th grade I started club lacrosse. I started varsity for my high school team freshman year. I was very eager to learn and see the game at a whole new level. Although I played defense most of my freshman year, I was also utilized on attack and midfield. I loved attack and worked really hard to make it my main position. Sophomore year I played attack and was also on the draw. This year I am a junior (season postponed) on my HS varsity team. In the summer I play for Headstrong Lacrosse. I played at the 2019 Maverik National Lacrosse Classic for team New Jersey 2021 and made it to the championships with my team. I have also been asked to come back for the 2020 Maverik National Lacrosse Classic for team New Jersey. Last year I was also selected to play on an AIST lacrosse team to represent the USA in an international tournament for the summer of 2020. I love to work hard and pride myself on my ability to redefend, get open on transitions, see the next pass on transitions, and my speed. I am comfortable dodging and shooting with both hands. I take all honors classes and school is very important to me. I have been a varsity scholar all three years of high school so far for maintaining an unweighted A average. I am proud to say I am very involved in my community and with my school. This year I was selected to be a part of the leadership program. I volunteer as a junior coach for my local cheer team, manage the wrestling team at my high school, help at the Atlantic City Atlanticare homeless shelter/rehabilitation center when I can, and babysit and work with foster children from infant to 8 years old.
