Lauren Iorio
Recruit Profile
Unselfish team player with great speed and lax IQ - tall, lean, athletic, coachable, competitive, smart, driven, and determined.
I started playing lacrosse in second grade. I also played competitive soccer until last year when I decided to focus solely on lacrosse. I still play high school soccer and tried cross country my sophomore year. This year my high school lacrosse team went 22-0 and won the North Coast Section championship. I was the highest scoring midfielder with 47 goals and was second on the team in ground balls. I was named to the EBAL All-league team. I am a tall, fast midfielder who transitions from defense to offense and vice versa quickly. I am an unselfish player with the ability to drive to the goal with speed and power. I am comfortable with my stick in either hand and know how to play both man-to-man and zone defense.
I have a 4.07 weighted g.p.a and will be taking 4 weighted classes as a junior. I became a member of the National Honor Society at the end of my sophomore year and am also a member of the Pledge To Humanity philanthropic club. I am a youth soccer referee.
