Lauren Kuschel
Recruit Profile
Leadership on and off the field, coachable, driven, committed, competitive, hard worker, and focused. I am very accurate on shooting and I am able to pass and catch no problem.
I have been playing completive lacrosse for 5 years. I started in 6th grade and played a year for 951 United, I fell in love with the sport as soon as I picked up a stick. Unfortunately I was unable to continue playing throughout middle school. As soon as I got into high school I decided to try-out for the lacrosse team and I ended up making JV. This was really good for me to be able to get comfortable with my stick, I became captain as a freshman and we had an undefeated season. I had the honors of getting the MVP award for JV. To start my sophomore season I made Varsity but sadly we only played 5 games before COVID hit but that didn't stop me from practicing. I was constantly out of my rebounder and shooting on goal. Then we got the exciting news that I was going to have a junior season. I am the leading scorer on my High School team and I have the most draw controls. I was the 2021 Inland Empire Player of the year and 2x Player of the Game my junior year. I am also apart of one of my school leadership program called BEAST. In Beast, I am the commissioner of the Athletic Talent Show and multiple pride events for our athletics. I currently have 3.8 GPA. I am very competitive and don't give up easily. I am extremely coachable and I know I would be a big asset to a team. Im ready to play at the next level.

I have had the pleasure of coaching Lauren Kuschel since she was a Freshman. In that time, I have never questioned Lauren’s ability to take over a game. She is a dominant force every time she steps on the turf. Her length, athleticism, drive, and leadership are unmatched. She is an amazing human being who was raised to humbly work and give 100% effort on the field and in all facets of her life. Lauren is dominant on the draw with her quick initial burst, length, and fierce mentality. Lauren possesses great speed for being a long player, doesn't shy away from contact, is a solid defender, and is a team-first leader who is always ready for the moment. She is still relatively new to the sport and has her best lacrosse still ahead of her. She has dominated on the highest of stages at the High School level and I have no doubt she will continue to dominate at the next level. Lauren will be a positive, hard working, and special player for your program. Please don't hesitate to call, text, or email with any questions. -Joe Jones / Email: joseph.jones@smusd.org / Cell: (951) 514-9966

Lauren Kuschel was recently named the Inland Empire Player of the year, CIF SS First Team, Southwestern League First Team and MVP for her high school team. Her accolades match strongly with her ability to perform on the field. Lauren is a dominant player starting with the draw. Breaking our HS record for draws in one year at 98. She also lead our team in goals. In addition too her draw abilities and offensive mindset Lauren was often times the heart of our defense using her length to intercept passes and force a number of turner overs. It is without doubt or hesitation that I highly recommend Lauren Kuschel to play beyond her HS experience. Lauren would be an amazing asset to your program and school. She is currently in her 4th year in our Leadership Class focusing on athletics and our spirit section. Lauren is well worth your time and I would love to answer any questions or provide any information. I have been coaching Lauren in middle school, high school and club.
