I started to play lacrosse at a young age following in my sisters footsteps by pushing hard and trying my best at every game and practice. After becoming a goalie from a defensive position it has helped me be more versatile as a goalie by knowing angles and talking to the defense clearly. For over three years I have trained with Skywalkers goalie coach Scott Bentkowski working on footwork, hand and eye coordination, and putting my body behind a shot instead of just my stick. For the past year I have been working out weekly with ex Maryland lacrosse player Mary Knox to improve my speed and strength as a player. I am student at Mercy high school who focuses on keeping grades up and balancing sports outside of school along with workouts.
