I started playing lacrosse as soon as I could hold a stick. I started as an attack player and moved to defense when my coach recognized my strong field awareness and ability to use my voice to direct other players around me. I use my lefty skills to challenge right-handed players on the left side of the field, but knowing how to play both the attack and defensive positions allows me to play any position that my team needs at that time. As a freshman, I made the JV lacrosse team at the school with the #1 varsity lacrosse team. I am a multisport athlete and also play as a Captain for the schools soccer team as a starting defensive wing player. I am an honor roll student and pride myself on doing well in both the classroom and on the field. I am a friendly leader on and off the field and was nominated by our faculty as a Green Key ambassador to help prospective and new students. I am also enjoying learning Chinese and being part of the beekeeping club.
