Motivated competitor with an ability to play both sides of the ball with determination, strength, and grit.
My name is Lauren Volk, I will be a 2023 graduate from Verona Area High School in Verona WI. I am also a member of the True Illinois 2023 State Team and the 2023 True National Team. I play Midfield as a draw specialist or on the circle, and I also play defense.
I started playing lacrosse in 4th grade. I have grown to really love the sport and have continued to work hard to be the best I can be at it. I have also been very involved with basketball and cross country teams throughout my middle school years, being a multi-sport athlete has always been important to me. I have to thank my parents and coaches for always encouraging and helping me to become a better player and person.
My goal is to attend college and study physical therapy / exercise science, and continue to play lacrosse at a high level. I take several Project Lead the Way and AP courses in High School to help prepare and challenge me for college level courses.

Lauren is a great athlete and can play any position on the field. She is an impactful player on the draw circle, and defensive side of the field. She is incredible shape and able to play an entire game. Lauren is a great teammate and pleasure to coach!
